Clove Oil

Clove essential oil is used to soothe minor aches, such as toothaches. It contains the active ingredient eugenol, which is a natural anesthetic. 

Clove has a spicy, warm scent that is instantly familiar because of its connection to fall and winter holidays.

Toothache relief

• Add 1 drop of Clove to 1 tablespoon of olive oil or coconut oil and apply it to the problem tooth for minor toothache relief. CAUTION: Use in moderation, as it is considered a skin and mucous membrane irritant. Test on a small area.

To use in a diffuser

• Add 2 to 4 drops to your diffuser and allow the fragrance to fill the room with the its healing molecules
• For a more stimulating diffuser, blend Clove with Clary Sage, Cinnamon, Basil, or Rosemary.
